DWELLING IN LEAKS — POROUS SPACES, PERMEABLE IMAGINARIES

Movement describes a world constantly opening, seeping, passing through itself. Each work questions the fragile line between shelter and exposure, between what contains and what escapes. In A Way to Leak, Lick, Leek, language itself becomes fluid. Words dissolve into matter; objects sweat with ambiguity. The domestic interior turns into a site of sensual exchange, where the tangible and the imagined intermingle and contaminate one another.

With Antivilla, architecture is conceived as a breathing organism. The punctured walls let in light and cold alike, erasing the boundary between comfort and confrontation. The house no longer shelters; it negotiates, it adapts, it survives. Amy Bennett’s miniature worlds, In the Lake and Cereal Boxes, replay this tension on an intimate scale. Her tiny interiors are silent theatres, poised between refuge and display, solitude and surveillance.

In Granby Four Streets, the domestic realm becomes a field of collective agency. To rebuild together is to repair the social fabric itself, inhabiting as an act of care, solidarity, and quiet resistance. Whether material, social, or poetic, these leaks share a common vision: space is never closed. It breathes, it exchanges, it lets the world seep in. To dwell today is to embrace porosity, to live within openness, and to find, in that exposure, a new form of strength.
